SECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI with Polygraphs are required (VA)POSITION: Senior DevOps Engineer REQUISITION: AWSMSA-03.0128425LOCATION: Springfield, VA --or-- Herndon, VAJOB DESCRIPTION: • Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant, and distributed systems processing mass-scale geospatial datasets• DevOps and debugging of system performance, cloud infrastructure, and geospatial datasets• Deploy and monitor machine learning models in cloud environments, using services like AWS SageMaker and CloudWatch.• Advanced in Typescript, Python (Or OOP), writing and reviewing code for enterprise scale applications.• Possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced environmentREQUIREMENTS: • 5+ years of professional software development with experience at scale• Strong expertise in distributed systems design and microservice architecture• Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies and AWS services (ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, SageMaker, RDS, DynamoDB)• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)• Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, etc)• DevOps: Monitoring (CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc), logging, and alerting• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelinesQUALIFICATIONS:CERTIFICATION: any AWS certification(s) are preferredEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor's Degree + 5 years NOTE: Degree in computer science or IT computer engineering from an accredited college or university.
