Role Overview
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure for our educational platforms. You will work closely with software engineers to optimise CI/CD pipelines, automate deployment processes, and enhance system reliability. Your expertise in cloud services, containerisation, and automation will be key to driving operational excellence
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure focusing on scalability, performance, and securityDevelop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software development and deploymentAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deploymentMonitor system performance and security, responding proactively to incidents and optimizing resource utilisationManage and optimise Kubernetes clusters, containerised applications, and microservices architectureImplement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and uptimeCollaborate with software engineers to integrate DevOps best practices into the development lifecycleEnsure compliance with security standards and implement best access control and data protection practicesResearch and introduce new DevOps tools and methodologies to enhance system reliability and developer productivityRequirements
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related roleExpertise in GCP Extensive experience with KubernetesExtensive experience with Linux system administration and networkingExperience managing PostgreSQL installationsStrong experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, Circle CI, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar)Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, or similar)Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languagesSolid understanding of networking, security best practices, and system administrationAbility to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and optimise system performanceStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment

Compensation & Benefits:
The expected starting pay range is 80,000€ - 110,000€/year. Miaplaza’s compensation philosophy ensures equity and competitiveness while considering the regional differences in living and labor costs.
