What You'll Do: Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve feature development on Fullscript Create detailed API documentation to enable third-party developers to easily integrate with our platform Build scalable backend applications to support the growing needs of the business Review pull requests, mentor, and be an advocate for high-quality code that makes future development faster, easier and better. Take full ownership and responsibility for building, shipping, testing, deploying and maintaining features Scope and plan projects and working with other developers (front-end and back) to implement them Give input on high-level architecture decisions and communicate those decisions Other duties determined by the company from time to time What You Bring: You are a passionate software engineer that cares about your craft. You are excited to learn, lead projects and want to produce the best work possible Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails Experience working with Javascript or JS frameworks (React, Vue, AngularJS, Next or similar) Understanding of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, as well as CSS preprocessors You write tests and understand their value You have a desire to learn and being open to feedback Understanding of design patterns and clean code What We Offer: Flexible PTO competitive pay—rest fuels performance.
