JOB DESCRIPTION:
Build models, perform analytics, and create AI features. Work across coding languages used in Data Science (e.g. Python, SQL, Java, C++, R, SAS, and/or Scala) and choose the right coding language to implement the solution to answer the business questions. Serve as a domain expert in Data Science and/or Statistical Analyses to build advanced models and roll into production and execute team's Data Science best practices. Scope out and execute new statistical steps with support/approval from senior contacts. Summarize and communicate conclusions and solutions to analytic and non-analytic stakeholders. Offer mentor support to more junior Data Scientist. Perform other duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field required.
2 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.
Also required is: 2 years of experience: Demonstrating ability for data analysis and machine learning using languages such as Python or R; conducting statistical analysis and correlation analysis for interpreting data and drawing conclusions; using machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence techniques; and creating data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions FL, Inc. office in San Diego, CA, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.
Experience can be concurrent.
SALARY RANGE FOR REQ# R115203:
$127,100 to $158,800/year + standard company benefits.
This salary range is specifically for REQ# R115203. Salary range listed below is general and covers all similar positions in the area and should not be considered for this specific position.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $95,300 - $158,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
