As a Senior Data Scientist, you will:Use quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand what drives our businessProvide insights to help business and product leaders understand marketplace dynamics, user behaviors, and long-term trendsProduce recommendations and use statistical techniques and hypothesis testing to validate your findingsBuild, deploy and maintain predictive models (e.g. churn, LTV, ARR, etc.) and translate model output into actionable business strategiesDefine and analyze key stages of the customer funnel (e.g. acquisition, activation, conversion, retention), identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for improvementDesign and analyze A/B tests, including defining success metrics, guardrails, and power requirements, and ensuring correct interpretation of resultsEnsure data quality through processing, automation, modeling, and reportingIdentify and prioritize the highest-impact opportunities across modeling, funnel performance, and experimentationContribute to the growth of knowledge of our team with internal and external documentation or presentations What YOU bring to the team:MS or PhD in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or similar domain5+ years of experience in data science or equivalent roleExperience working with funnel optimization, user segmentation, cohort analyses, time series analyses, regression models, etc.Expertise with A/B Testing, and statistical analysis in PythonProficiency in one or more data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, PowerBI)The insight to take ambiguous problems and solve them in a structured, hypothesis-driven, data-supported wayUS:Parallels helps users leverage the best technology out there, whether it’s Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, iOS, Android, or the cloud.
