Senior Data Engineer | Pricing & Promotions

Remote Full-time

Who we are
We’re bold thinkers and kind teammates, growing fast but staying grounded. Our Nordic roots and global outlook shape a culture of friendliness, creativity, and collaboration, all powered by openness and shared wins. We care deeply about doing the right thing—and doing it together. We aim to improve the flow of goods, time, and energy, and we know we can’t shape the future by clinging to the past. So, we keep evolving, together.
What we do
RELEX Solutions delivers a unified supply chain planning platform for retailers and manufacturers, enabled by proven AI technology. We help companies optimize demand forecasting, replenishment, merchandising, pricing and promotions, supply chain operations, and production planning across the end-to-end value chain.
With a global team of over 2,000 professionals, we work side-by-side with our customers to solve real problems with lasting impact. Companies trust RELEX to increase product availability, boost sales, deliver actionable insights, improve sustainability, and drive profitable growth.
Within RELEX, our Pricing & Promotions team builds cloud-native tools on Google Cloud Platform that help businesses make smarter pricing decisions. From large-scale data processing pipelines in Golang to intuitive TypeScript/React user interfaces, we design systems that are fast, scalable, and meaningful.
In response to our fast growth and market expansion, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Platform Team.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will

Own the design, development, and evolution of data pipelines powering business critical pricing and promotion systems
Drive scalability and performance improvements across our data platform on Google Cloud Platform
Build and enhance robust data integrations for large scale, customer specific datasets
Develop tooling and pipelines that ensure reliable, observable, and maintainable data operations
Contribute to new feature design and bring data driven ideas into production
Monitor and continuously improve data quality, system performance, and reliability

You will also act as a senior technical contributor within the team, guiding others, influencing design decisions, and ensuring high quality and maintainable solutions. As part of a global setup, you will work closely with our North American teams, supporting customer implementations together with local competence, and participating in customer facing discussions around incidents, data questions, and evolving product needs.
What you’ll bring to the table
We are looking for someone who brings both strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset.

Strong experience in software engineering in production environments
Proven experience designing and building scalable data pipelines for large scale data processing
Solid understanding of data modeling, analysis, and hypothesis driven development
Experience building integrations for downstream or customer facing systems
Good understanding of scalable data architectures and performance optimization
Comfortable leveraging modern AI assisted development tools in your daily work
Fluent in written and spoken English

As a senior team member, you communicate clearly, document your work, and help others succeed. You take ownership of technical decisions, balance speed with quality, and actively contribute to team alignment.
What we offer in return
You’ll be supported and given the space to thrive. We offer meaningful work, flexibility, and a culture that backs you to share your voice and be authentic.

An international, collaborative environment across Europe and North America
The opportunity to shape a growing U.S. presence from the ground up
Career growth in a fast-growing, financially strong tech company
Flexible and hybrid working options
Comprehensive health and wellness initiatives
Learning and development opportunities, including mentorship
Generous paid time off and parental leave

We are a global community of different cultures, voices, and experiences. We celebrate what makes us unique and connect through what we share, in an inclusive and respectful environment. Please note that, to be considered for this position, you must be based in the Eastern Time Zone in North America and hold a valid U.S. work permit.
If you feel this is the opportunity you don’t want to miss, apply today and be part of the future.
