Check out more about our recent funding round of $365 million here.Hostaway is seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our team and drive our growth in the market.Your MissionYou will be leading the design and implementation of our Data Engineering practice, providing robust, scalable, and cloud-native data infrastructure to fuel analytics across Hostaway.Our Data Engineering team is focused on providing a unified data model that powers our RevOps, Product Analytics, and FinOps teams with the ability to do and build their own analytics.Requirements5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong track record of designing and implementing scalable data solutions using GCPExtensive experience with dbt and the best practices for building, structuring, and testing code-first transformations using PythonProven experience building and maintaining production-grade DAG-based pipelines orchestration like Airflow or DagsterIn-depth knowledge of building ETL and ELT pipelines using FivetranStrong experience with streaming data architectures and (near) real-time data processing, using the Google Cloud data ecosystemDeep understanding of Google BigQuery services for big data Familiarity with operating in a git-first environment and automating workflows using CI/CD pipelinesHands-on experience integrating data from Sales and Marketing platforms, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, or Outreach.Clear understanding of common data models used in payment systems like Stripe.Nice to haveFamiliarity with DevOps infrastructure-as-code tooling like Terraform to provision cloud resourcesFamiliarity with RDSElasticSearchWhat we offerCompetitive Compensation: We offer competitive pay based on market rates in the country of the applicant.100% Remote: Enjoy the freedom to work from anywhere within your country of residence—be it a co-working space, your home office, or even your dining room table.
