This is a remote position.
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a global pharmaceutical client and help build scalable data infrastructure and modern cloud-based data pipelines.
Responsibilities
⢠Design and develop scalable, reliable data pipelines and infrastructure
⢠Build ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale data processing
⢠Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions
⢠Process and analyze large datasets to support business insights
⢠Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance standards
⢠Optimize data collection, storage, and processing performance
⢠Create dashboards, templates, and visualizations for stakeholders
⢠Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify data needs
⢠Design and execute experiments to validate data-driven solutions
Requirements
⢠Strong experience with:
⢠SQL
⢠Python or Scala
⢠AWS cloud platform
⢠Experience with big data technologies:
⢠Spark
⢠Kafka
⢠Hadoop
⢠Strong knowledge of:
⢠Data modeling
⢠ETL/ELT pipeline development
⢠Data warehousing concepts
⢠Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
⢠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
⢠Experience working in enterprise-scale environments
Nice to Have
⢠Experience with manufacturing processes
⢠Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
⢠Experience within pharmaceutical or healthcare environments
