The Senior Data Analytics & Voice‑of‑Customer Engineer will be a cornerstone of our Customer Listening Team, responsible for transforming raw survey data into actionable intelligence that fuels strategic decisions across the organization. Key Responsibilities

Partner closely with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models that support the Voice‑of‑Customer (VoC) platform, ensuring high‑quality, reliable data pipelines.
Leverage big‑data technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to build batch and real‑time analytics solutions.
Implement and optimize data ingestion workflows from survey tools, integrating them with careerzynith’s central data lake and analytics ecosystem.
Develop and enforce standardized metric definitions, ensuring consistency across reporting dashboards and executive summaries.
Collaborate with product owners, agile development teams, and external partners to prioritize feature delivery and drive continuous improvement.
Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and performance tuning to guarantee data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Automate repetitive data‑processing tasks using shell scripting, PySpark, and Python to increase operational efficiency.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices, recommending innovative approaches to enhance the VoC analytics stack.


Essential Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools (Hive, HDFS, MapReduce) and Spark/PySpark programming.
Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and SQL for data manipulation and pipeline development.
Data Modeling: Demonstrated ability to design and implement robust data models that support large‑scale analytics.
Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban frameworks, delivering incremental value in fast‑paced environments.
Analytical Mindset: Strong problem‑solving capabilities, with a focus on translating business questions into technical solutions.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
