What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze revenue cycle data to identify performance improvement opportunities and suggest methods for enhancing operations
- Develop user requirements for Operational Analytics reporting tools, including their design, documentation, and implementation
- Support strategic decision-making through advanced analytics and optimized reporting
- Provide subject matter expertise in meetings and presentations to executive leadership
- Maintain project plans and ensure timely completion of all assigned projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, or a business-related field
- 7-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a physician billing or hospital environment
- Expert proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio and Microsoft Excel, including report development
- Strong project management skills with a focus on meeting project timelines
- Ability to analyze information from multiple sources and make proactive recommendations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MBA is highly preferred
- Experience with AthenaIDX and data science tools such as STATA, Python, or R
- Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI
- Epic Clarity Certification in Clinical and/or Revenue Cycle modules
- Experience in Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies
