If you are a customer service professional with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities** * Review and research incoming healthcare claim calls from providers, navigating multiple computer systems and platforms to verify data and information necessary for processing * Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues, documenting required information in computer systems * Communicate and collaborate with providers to resolve issues, using clear, simple language to ensure understanding * Meet performance goals established for the position in the areas of efficiency, accuracy, quality, and attendance * Collaborate with the team to resolve complex issues and provide guidance on our products and services **Essential Qualifications** * High School Diploma or equivalent * Must be 18 years of age or older * Working knowledge of computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications * Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm CST, Monday – Friday * Ability to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed **Preferred Qualifications** * 1 year of experience in a related environment (i.e., office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as primary job tools * Healthcare experience **Soft Skills** * Ability to de-escalate calls, listen to customer needs, and respond appropriately with compassion and empathy * Ability to multi-task for extended periods, managing calls while navigating multiple computer systems * Ability to remain organized, focused, and productive on highly detailed repetitive tasks * Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to independently research issues using multiple information sources **Telecommuting Requirements** * Reside within Central or Mountain Time Zone * Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable) * Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy * Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service **Compensation and Benefits** * Competitive salary * Comprehensive benefits package * Incentive and recognition programs * Equity stock purchase * 401(k) contribution (subject to eligibility requirements) * Opportunity to grow your career and make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry **Application Process** Ready to join our dynamic team?
