Position Overview: Customer Service Excellence Specialist

We're seeking passionate and dedicated Customer Service Excellence Specialists to join our growing team. In this vital role, you'll be the voice of careerzynith, representing our brand commitment to exceptional service through every customer interaction. This position offers multiple work arrangement options including on-site in Bemidji, MN or Minneapolis, MN, fully remote (for Minnesota residents), or a hybrid combination that suits your lifestyle.

As a Customer Service Excellence Specialist at careerzynith, you'll handle a high volume of inbound calls while managing diverse topics and serving as the essential liaison between our organization and our valued customers. Your exceptional communication skills will combine with problem-solving abilities to deliver resolutions that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities


Deliver exceptional customer service via telephone while effectively managing a large volume of inbound calls
Utilize established communication scripts and protocols while adapting to different customer scenarios
Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve complete satisfaction and build long-term relationships
Develop sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open, interactive communication
Provide accurate, valid, and complete information using the most appropriate methods and tools
Meet personal and team call handling targets while maintaining quality standards
Expertly handle customer complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within established timeframes
Follow up to ensure issue resolution and customer satisfaction
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all customer interactions
Strictly adhere to communication procedures, guidelines, and company policies
Proactively go the extra mile to engage customers and create positive experiences
Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active-listening skills
Effectively prioritize issues and respond appropriately based on urgency and importance
Complete other duties as assigned to support team and organizational objectives


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Technical Proficiencies

Understanding and working knowledge of technology, including Microsoft Office suite products

Familiarity with call center technologies and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Comfortable learning and mastering new technologies and applications


Scheduling Requirements

Available to attend extended new hire training Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm upon hire
Upon completion of training, able to work a regular schedule Monday through Friday
Flexibility to work an eight-hour shift between 7:00am to 7:00pm (typically 10:30am to 7:00pm) based on business needs


Education and Experience Requirements

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proven experience interacting with customers in a professional setting
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a track record of resolving customer issues
Demonstrated ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
Experience with technology, software applications, phone systems, and programs
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation


Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous call center or customer service center experience
Strong understanding of company products, policies, and services
Experience in a healthcare or insurance customer service environment
familiarity with dental or health industry terminology and processes
Bilingual communication abilities (particularly Spanish)


Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Physical Requirements: Occasional lifting up to 10 lbs
Extended periods of sitting at a workstation for remote or on-site positions
