Position Overview:
Concordant LLC is seeking a Senior Contracts Support Specialist (SCS) to provide comprehensive acquisition and contract support for federal government programs. This role supports complex pre- and post-award acquisition activities across all contract types and dollar values. Position is fully remote.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead and support complex federal acquisition activities from pre-award through post-award
β’ Provide technical direction and guidance to junior acquisition personnel
β’ Develop and review solicitation and procurement packages in compliance with FAR, VAAR, and agency policies
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to define performance requirements and acquisition strategies
β’ Refine and improve source selection evaluation criteria
β’ Analyze complex contracting issues and recommend alternative solutions
β’ Support contract administration, modifications, and closeout activities
β’ Conduct gap analyses and analyze cost elements related to service or healthcare resources
β’ Prepare procurement packages for government review and approval
Minimum Requirements:
β’ U.S. citizenship required
β’ Minimum of five (5) years of recent federal acquisition support experience within the last seven (7) years
β’ Demonstrated experience supporting contracts exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT)
β’ Bachelorβs degree in any field
β’ OR 24 semester hours in business-related disciplines (accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, management, etc.)
β’ FAC-C Level I, II, III, FAC-C Professional, DAWIA Level III, or equivalent contracting certification OR coursework toward certification or equivalent commercial training
Required Skills:
β’ Ability to lead and mentor lower-level acquisition staff
β’ Excellent writing, communication, and time management skills
β’ Ability to collaborate with multiple customers and stakeholders
β’ Ability to analyze difficult contracting issues and identify alternative courses of action
β’ Ability to conduct gap analyses and assess cost elements
β’ Ability to prepare advisory and procurement support documentation in compliance with VA and federal policies
Preferred Experience:
β’ Construction / Architect-Engineering (AE) contracting
β’ Complex services or healthcare contracting
β’ Supply-type contracting

β’ Offer contingent upon contract award and government resume approval

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
