Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Computer and Information Systems Manager to oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT operations and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, systems analysis, and computer programming, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Plan, direct, and coordinate IT-related projects, ensuring timely completion, scope adherence, and budget management.
System Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of information systems, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
Systems Analysis: Conduct systems analysis to evaluate IT system efficiency and effectiveness, recommending improvements and innovations.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT management, systems analysis, and computer programming.
Proficiency in IT infrastructure, network management, database management, and software development, with familiarity in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
Strong leadership and team management abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
Proven experience in managing IT projects from inception to completion, with a track record of delivering successful outcomes.
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and business environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with enterprise-level applications and systems.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Master's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
Professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or ITIL (preferred).
Clearance Requirement:
Must be a US Citizen.
Must have an active Public Trust or have the ability to obtain one.
