WHO YOU ARE

Prowess Consulting is looking for a Senior Communications Writer to translate complex total rewards business plans into clear, trusted, and human-centered messaging at a leading tech company. This role is ideal for a strong storyteller who can take complex HR and business programs and distill them into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives. You are skilled at crafting executive-level messaging while also creating practical, actionable communications for employees and managers.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, partnering closely with program managers, creatives, and stakeholders to bring cohesive communication strategies to life.

In this role, you can work primarily within your local time zone, with occasional availability needed between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pacific Time.

Responsibilities Develop core messaging frameworks (what, why, how) for Total Rewards programs
Write high-quality program communications, including employee emails, announcements, and manager guidance
Create manager toolkits and talking points to support effective cascade communications
Ensure messaging consistency across all touchpoints, channels, and global markets
Partner with project managers and creative teams to bring communication strategies and narratives to life
Translate and simplify complex topics such as benefits, compensation, performance, and development into clear, engaging content
Qualifications and Expectations Strong storytelling and executive writing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences
Demonstrated experience distilling complex programs or strategies into clear, concise language
Experience working on HR, rewards, or employee communications programs preferred
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including program management and creative partners
Strong attention to detail and commitment to clarity, accuracy, and tone consistency
Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Additional Details The offered pay range for this position is $105,000 – 140,000 per year, depending on experience and geographic location.
