Senior Commercial General Liability Claims Representative | Remote
Our client is seeking a Senior Commercial General Liability Claims Representative as an add to staff for their Southeast division. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in handling complex litigated and non-litigated Commercial General Liability claims from inception to close. This includes coverage analysis, drafting coverage position letters, litigation management, and negotiation high-value settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a pending of 85 - 100 complex Commercial General Liability claims from inception to resolution.
• Conduct thorough investigations by gathering evidence and conducting interviews.
• Evaluate exposure, establish appropriate reserves, and adjust as necessary throughout the claim’s lifecycle.
• Develop and execute effective action plans to drive timely resolution.
• Demonstrate strong litigation management skills, proactively managing defense strategies, budgets, and outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements while balancing the needs of both the company and the insured.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of Commercial General Liability claims experience.
• Must be well versed in analyzing coverage and drafting coverage letters.
• Prior experience with an Insurance Carrier is required.
• Active adjuster’s license required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft reports, present to clients, and manage negotiations effectively.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Base Salary: $110,000 – $135,000 (based on experience) plus 10 - 25% annual bonus.
