As a Senior Cloud FinOps Analyst, you will play a critical role in Delta's FinOps team, working closely with finance, engineering, and other teams to optimize cloud spend and drive business value. This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a foundational knowledge of hyperscale cloud services. Key Responsibilities Conduct working sessions with finance, operations, and engineering teams to produce budgets and forecasts that drive business decisions. Collaborate with engineering teams to drive optimization efforts and implement FinOps practices and methodologies. Create dashboards and reports for stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing insights that inform business decisions. Develop educational documentation and training materials to educate teams across the organization on cloud cost management and optimization. Produce presentations on initiatives, statuses, and other topics as needed, communicating complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. What You Need to Succeed To be successful in this role, you will need: 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud cost management tools and techniques. 4+ years of experience working with public cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proven proficiency developing data-driven insights to support decision making. Excellent collaboration skills with technical and non-technical partners. Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for analyzing large volumes of data. Commitment to safety and security , prioritizing the security of self, others, and personal data. Embracing diversity , welcoming diverse people, thinking, and styles. High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency , with authorization to work in the United States. What Will Give You a Competitive Edge While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Extensive knowledge of the AWS cloud computing platform , with experience developing forecasts in a public cloud environment. Cloud automation skills , with experience using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Familiarity with Apptio Cloudability , a cloud cost management and optimization platform.
