As a Senior Cloud Engineer at blithequark, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cloud architecture solutions that meet the company's evolving needs. You will be responsible for providing expertise on tool access and authentication components as part of overall cloud tool enablement efforts, creating and proposing cloud architecture solution ideas, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that proposed solutions meet existing policy requirements and best practices. Key Responsibilities Provide expertise on tool access and authentication components as part of overall cloud tool enablement efforts. Create and propose cloud architecture solution ideas related to cloud tool enablement, covering Google Cloud access and validation best practices. Serve as a subject matter expert in Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure Cloud with respect to access and authentication capabilities. Collaborate and work with the enterprise cloud architecture, IAM, and Validation teams to ensure proposed solutions meet existing policy requirements and best practices. Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for their adoption within the organization's cloud tool environment. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior colleagues, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Required Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field. A graduate degree is preferred. 3+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, ideally in a senior capacity, with expertise in Identity Access Management and Authentication components. 3+ years of experience working in public cloud environments, Google Cloud Platform/Azure, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Strong understanding of IAM and Authentication best practices in Google Cloud, including inter-cloud tool vendors and public clouds. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to provide state-of-the-art cloud architecture solutions for cloud tools. Superb communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications and Skills To stand out as a candidate, you will ideally have: A Google Cloud Partner or Professional Certificate. Mastery of IAM and Authentication best practices in Google Cloud, including inter-cloud tool vendors and public clouds. A strong understanding of best practices and available techniques related to IAM, Authentication, and network transaction within GCP and across public clouds. The ability to create clear and concise solution idea diagrams that are easy to communicate and understand.
