Senior Cloud Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:
ā¢ Design and implement seamless automated pipelines using GitLab for AWS government cloud deployments.
ā¢ Optimize CI/CD platform to elevate application delivery performance.
ā¢ Oversee and manage GitLab CI/CD systems ensuring efficient integration and operation.
ā¢ Collaborate on improving containerization strategies and reinforce security best practices.
ā¢ Incorporate secure deployment processes, including automated security checks.
Skills:
ā¢ Proven expertise in Git and GitLab CI/CD tools to streamline code management.
ā¢ Advanced proficiency in AWS services like Lambda, EC2, S3, and EKS.
ā¢ Strong background in Docker and Kubernetes for superior container management.
ā¢ Competency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation tasks.
ā¢ Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and comparable tools.
ā¢ Familiarity with security testing methodologies and container scanning technologies like Trivy or Prisma.
ā¢ Knowledge of GitOps principles and deployment tools, including ArgoCD/Flux.
ā¢ Proven experience with Ansible or CloudFormation for sophisticated IaC implementations.
ā¢ Certifications in GitLab or AWS is a plus.
