Your responsibilities

As a (Senior) Cloud Architect with German Skills (all genders), you design, develop and evolve modern cloud architectures across AWS and Azure environments. You work closely with customers and technical teams to create scalable, secure and high-performing cloud solutions while driving architectural best practices and innovation.
Design, implement and further develop cloud architectures and operating models based on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards, blueprints and best practices
Design sustainable security, governance and management processes for cloud platforms and applications
Ensure security, scalability, reliability and performance of cloud-based solutions
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into sustainable cloud architectures
Collaborate closely with software engineering, DevOps and infrastructure teams to enable automation and cloud-native solutions
Support technical decision-making and communicate architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Drive cloud modernization initiatives and support customers throughout their cloud transformation journey
Monitor and optimize cloud costs, resource usage and operational efficiency

Your profile

Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering or infrastructure environments
Strong expertise in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, including the design and operation of cloud-native solutions
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or similar technologies
Solid understanding of cloud architectures, DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
Knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, networking and governance concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Excellent communication and consulting skills with the ability to interact confidently with customers and stakeholders
Relevant cloud certifications (AWS and/or Microsoft Azure) are considered a plus
Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments is an advantage
Fluent in English and German
