Senior Cloud Architect – GCP
Job Description: • Lead Enterprise Cloud Migrations: Spearhead the migration of large-scale, on-premise workloads to Google Cloud Platform for enterprise customers, ensuring a smooth and successful transition. • Hands-On Architecture & Design: Act as the lead technical authority on projects, designing and implementing robust, secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions on GCP. • Client-Facing Leadership: Serve as the primary technical liaison for customers, working directly with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, provide prescriptive guidance, and build trusted relationships. • Technical Implementation: Engage in hands-on implementation, providing expert guidance to delivery engineers across a range of technologies including networking, storage, databases, security, and automation. • Be a GCP Evangelist: Educate customers on the value of GCP, demonstrating how to leverage best-of-breed designs and practices to accelerate their business goals. • Drive DevOps Culture: Work with customers to enable a DevOps mindset, modernizing their operations and release strategies through automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Requirements: • 5-7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting IT Cloud solutions. • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale cloud migration projects for enterprise clients. • Deep, hands-on expertise with core GCP services. • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical executives. • Proven ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. • Required Certification: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect. • Nice to Have: Experience in building and delivering Data and AI solutions. • Additional GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Data Engineer, Professional Cloud Network Engineer). • Experience with other major cloud providers (AWS, Azure).
