OneSparQ is looking for a Senior Cloud Application Optimization/Platform Engineer or a global data analytics company based out of Atlanta, GA. This is a fully remote opportunity.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and optimize cloud-native applications using Cosmos DB, AKS, and ADLS.Lead efforts in index build, compression/decompression, and application performance tuning in Cosmos Strong Java development experienceUtilize tools such as VisualVM, Azure Insights, Grafana, and Prometheus for monitoring and diagnostics.Architect and manage blue/green deployments, versioning strategies, and code promotion workflows.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, JFrog, Helm Charts, and Docker.Collaborate on network architecture, resource group management, and infrastructure provisioning.Drive data ingestion and logging strategies across platforms.Analyze and optimize cost metrics, log analytics, and Azure alerts to ensure efficient scaling.Required Skills:10+ years of experience in backend Java development5+ years of recent experience designing, implementing and optimizing applications with Microsoft Azure (Cosmos DB, AKS and ADLS)Experience developing and maintaining DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines in GitHub Actions, JFrog, Helm Charts, and DockerDegree in an IT or related filedAdditional Skills:Experience migrating Background working in Big Data and Data Science environmentsExperience working at an Architecture or consulting level driving application optimization andAzure and Java CertificationsEmployers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
