Job Description A national managed care organization is expanding its clinical coding quality and education programs — and this senior‑level role sits at the center of that mission. You’ll lead inpatient coding audits, develop training programs, and partner with clinical teams to improve accuracy and compliance across a 28‑million‑member population. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for an RN who thrives in audit, education, and continuous improvement. What You’ll Do • Develop, maintain, and execute complex inpatient coding audit processes • Conduct inpatient coding audits and review medical necessity against guidelines • Design and deliver clinical coding education and training programs • Identify training gaps and recommend targeted education solutions • Partner with staff to resolve audit findings and improve coding accuracy • Present audit results, trends, and recommendations to leadership • Maintain training records and documentation • Support updates to policies, procedures, and workflows • Travel to New York twice per year for onsite meetings Qualifications What You Bring • Registered Nurse (RN) with an active state license • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (or related clinical field with equivalent experience) • 4+ years of experience in nursing, training, or auditing in a managed care setting • Inpatient coding audit experience • Current coding certification: CPC, CIC, or CCS • 1+ year of inpatient clinical experience • Strong written communication skills Nice to Have: • Experience as a lead, trainer, or supervisor • Experience developing training materials or audit tools Additional Information Additional Details • Bonus eligible (8%) • No relocation or sponsorship available • Fully remote with limited travel (2x/year) • Compensation: USD65000 - USD120000 - yearly Apply tot his job
