Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to lead the development and evolution of their next generation Business Intelligence platform. This pivotal role will be responsible for the end-to end lifecycle of the platform, from initial design and architecture to building robust data pipelines, creating insightful real-time dashboards, optimizing ETL processes, integrating AI capabilities for enhanced analytics and process automation, and ensuring seamless integration with the ERP system.
• Define the vision, strategy, and architecture for client's Business Intelligence platform leveraging Azure, Microsoft Power BI, and Fabric
• Data Pipeline Development
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Fabric Dataflows, and other relevant technologies to ingest and process data from various sources
• Real-time Dashboard Development
• Develop interactive and real-time dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization
• ETL/ELT Process Buildout and Optimization
• Design, implement, and optimize complex ETL/ELT processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and performance
• Identify opportunities for process automation using AI and Power Automate
• Design and implement robust data models and establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT, and data science teams, to understand their needs and deliver effective BI solutions.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in developing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions
• Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling (DAX), report and dashboard development.
• Prior experience with Azure Data Factory and Synapse Data Warehouse is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Fabric would be a big plus.
• Proven experience in designing and building complex data pipelines using Azure Data Factory or similar ETL/ELT tools
• Strong experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes for large and complex datasets
• Experience with process automation tools(Microsoft Power Automate) would be a plus. Demonstrated experience integrating BI platforms with ERP systems
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with various database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Snowflake).
