Senior Business Intelligence Consultant

The Senior Business Intelligence Consultant must have a demonstrated track record of manipulating and analyzing data as well as being able to understand, visualize and discuss marketing implications. Possessing a curiosity to leverage data to solve business problems and develop solutions is a critical attribute for an individual in this role.

Your Impact:
• Perform data engineering on large datasets using advanced SQL
• Design, develop, and produce output reports based on project requirements
• Develop and implement comprehensive tools and strategies that leverage large amounts of data for developing business insights
• Analyze and interpret data and historical trends to find actionable insights to inform strategies
• Present insights and strategies to stakeholders
• Define reporting, modeling, and analysis requirements in collaboration with stakeholder groups
• Work collaboratively with different stakeholder groups to develop new products and features for THD’s Analytic offeringsPerforms other duties as required.

Your Profile:
• Bachelor's or advanced degree
• 5+ years’ experience in non-profit direct marketing, including an understanding of the data, reporting, and fundraising metrics used by non-profit organizations to drive program performance
• Experience using donor relationship management systems (i.e. Salesforce, ROI, Blackbaud) or the data outputs from these systems
• Project management
• Knowledge of digital marketing programs and technologies
• Experience with data visualization platforms
• Experience integrating third-party APIs
• Proven ability to manipulate and analyze data from large databases using advanced SQL
• Demonstrated quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Ability to analyze data, understand implications, and make strategic recommendations
• Ability to convey complex requirements and analytic processes to marketing staff
• Experience as a people manager
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment, coordinating multiple projects with tight deadlines
• Superior attention to detail and quality control skillsStrong communication and presentation skills
