Senior Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you ensure that both ongoing and upcoming work delivers business value to the client. Additionally, you confirm the technical delivery team has the essential resources, clear priorities, and requirements to succeed when they begin their participation in a project.The Impact You Will HaveCollaborate with clients to understand their business needs and objectivesDesign and develop business architectures that align with clients strategic goalsIdentify opportunities for leveraging data and AI to improve business processes and outcomesCollaborate with technical teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutionsConduct gap analysis and recommend improvements to existing business processes, including data governanceLead workshops and meetings to align stakeholders on project goals and deliverablesBridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, translating complex challenges into scalable data solutionsDevelop accelerators, frameworks, and best practices that elevate our delivery capabilitiesIdentify new opportunities and help expand client relationshipsWhat We Look For5+ years of experience in business analysis or product development, ideally within Data and Analytics Strong SQL skills for complex data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting Proficiency with visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.) Familiarity with APIs Understanding of data management, analytics, and AI technologies Direct client-facing experience in a consulting or professional services organization Skilled at facilitating workshops, managing conflict, and building consensus Experience translating business needs into functional and technical specifications Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Data-driven decision maker who quantifies business value and ROI Analytical thinker who can break down complex problems into actionable solutions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Committed to delivering excellence and exceeding client expectations Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial mindsetPreferred Experience Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) Databricks certification (e.g., Data Analyst Associate) Business process modeling and analysis Data, AI, and governance strategy development and implementation Project management and leadership Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strategic thinking and business acumen Conceptual modeling and analysis Change management and stakeholder engagementEducationBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.Our Commitment to Diversity and InclusionAt SunnyData, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture where everyone can excel.
