Job Title: Senior Business Analyst - Consultant Primary Location: Remote, Open to US Based Candidates Position Type: Contract- 3-4 Months with Possibility of Extension Overview TalentFish is hiring a Senior Business Analyst for a 34 month consulting engagement with potential for extension. This BA will work closely with a high-performing Sr. Project Manager and will be responsible for requirements, analysis, and solution alignment on key digital transformation initiatives involving Unqork and InsureMo . We are seeking an experienced, sharp, senior-level BA with a demonstrated track record of successful consulting engagements , strong insurance domain expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience): • 58+ years of Business Analysis experience , preferably in consulting or professional services environments. • Strong insurance background , ideally consumer insurance (e.g., auto, home, renters, personal lines). • Hands-on experience with Unqork and InsureMo platforms. • Proven ability to partner closely with senior-level PMs and executive leadership to drive clarity, deliverables, and decision-making. • Strong experience leading requirements gathering , process mapping , user stories , and acceptance criteria . • Demonstrated success delivering BA workstreams on digital transformation , workflow automation , or underwriting/claims platform initiatives. • Excellent communication skills, able to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements. • Experience supporting agile SDLC environments, ceremonies, and cross-functional collaboration. • Ability to quickly learn client environments, build trust, and operate with minimal guidance. What You'll Do. (Skills Used in this Position): • Lead end-to-end business analysis for digital insurance initiatives built on Unqork and InsureMo . • Conduct interviews, workshops, and working sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams. • Translate business needs into detailed requirements , user stories , workflows, and documentation. • Partner with the Senior Project Manager Leader to drive timelines, priorities, and solution decisions. • Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and system performance. • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT preparation, and defect triage. • Serve as the liaison between business, product, and technical teams ensuring alignment and traceability throughout the project. • Provide consultative insights based on previous project successes and industry best practices. Compensation Information The expected salary range for this position is $65 - $90 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
