Senior Brand Designer

Position Overview:UP.Labs is a venture studio that builds startups from the ground up, in partnership with global enterprises like Porsche and others. Our designers shape how these new ventures look, feel, and communicate — from the first logo to the investor pitch to the product launch.We’re hiring a Senior Brand Designer to lead visual communication across our Ventures portfolio. You’ll craft brands from 0 to 1, build the narrative assets that bring them to market, and design the websites and presentations that carry them into fundraising, partnerships, and launch.This role is for a senior, self-directed designer with strong taste and a product mindset — someone who understands that a brand exists to support a product and its go-to-market strategy, and who can translate that understanding into work that sets the bar.The OpportunityYou’ll partner with founders, product designers, strategists, and leadership to shape multiple ventures in parallel — from early concept through enterprise scale. You’ll own projects end-to-end: understand the problem, define the approach, and execute with polish.This is not a production role. We’re looking for a designer who brings a point of view.Primary Focus Areas1. Brand Design & DevelopmentCreate and evolve brand identities from early concept to mature systemsDesign logos, visual languages, typography systems, and brand guidelinesTranslate product positioning and GTM strategy into compelling visual systemsEnsure consistency and quality across every brand touchpointRaise the visual bar and bring a strong point of view to brand decisions2. Presentation DesignDesign executive-level presentations for fundraising, partnerships, and internal storytellingTransform complex ideas, data, and narratives into clear, persuasive storiesBuild reusable slide systems and templates that scaleProduce sales decks and one-sheets that sharply communicate product value and differentiationPartner with leadership and strategy to refine messaging3. Website DesignDesign modern, high-quality websites focused on clarity, usability, and craftShip real code, or via Webflow, WordPress, Squarespace, or similar platformsCollaborate with developers or build directly in no-code / low-code toolsEnsure responsive, accessible, and performance-minded design across devicesIn this role you will:Own visual design projects end-to-end, from concept through executionWork across multiple ventures at different stages — from early startup to enterprise-scaleOperate with a high degree of autonomy and accountabilityProactively identify gaps and opportunities to raise brand and visual qualityCollaborate across time zones with product, engineering, and leadershipYou should have:A strong portfolio of real-world work across branding, presentations, and web designSenior-level experience designing for both startups and enterprise environmentsA product mindset — fluency in how brand supports product design and go-to-marketProven ability to craft a product brand from 0 to 1Fluent English (written and spoken) — sufficient to collaborate with U.S. teams and present to global enterprise partnersAvailability to overlap with U.S. business hours (PT/ET)Excellent command of typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchyAdvanced proficiency with Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent)Hands-on experience shipping websites (whether in code, Webflow, WordPress, Squarespace, or similar platforms)Strong ownership, judgment, and attention to detailExperience working effectively on distributed, remote teamsNice to Have:Experience in a venture studio, agency, or fast-paced startupFamiliarity with basic front-end concepts (HTML/CSS)Experience building or maintaining scalable design systemsMotion or light animation skills (After Effects, Lottie, etc.)Experience collaborating closely with product designers and engineersHow You WorkYou are senior-level and self-directed — you know what needs to be done and take ownership without waiting for instructionYou bring strong taste and are comfortable making design decisionsYou balance strategic thinking with exceptional executionYou thrive in environments with high standards, ambiguity, and accountabilityYou care deeply about craft, clarity, and qualityWhy UP.LabsWork on multiple innovative ventures across different industriesCollaborate with experienced founders, designers, and operatorsFully remote environment with a strong culture of trust and ownershipOpportunity to shape brands and products from day oneExposure to both startup speed and enterprise complexityIf you don’t meet every single requirement listed above, but believe your skills and experience make you a strong fit, we encourage you to apply.
