Location: Europe (remote)

DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Senior BI Developer to join our team. You will play a key role in
designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that empower
stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. You’ll work primarily with AWS QuickSight, but also contribute to shaping our BI strategy in a modern cloud environment based on
PowerBI. This is a hands-on role for a professional who is autonomous, proactive, and
eager to understand the business logic behind the data — not just the technical layer.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive BI dashboards and reports using AWS QuickSight and PowerBI.
• Translate complex business requirements into efficient, insightful visualizations and data models.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and queries across sources such as S3, Athena, and DynamoDB.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance, and cost efficiency in BI solutions.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand KPIs, metrics, and business processes.
• Advocate for best practices in BI design, governance, and cloud cost optimization.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve BI performance and data freshness.
• Stay current on BI trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance reporting
capabilities.
Required Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience in Business Intelligence development.
• Proven expertise in Power BI and AWS QuickSight. => Very important C2 - Restricted use.
• Strong data modeling and SQL skills.
• Solid understanding of AWS services such as S3, Athena, and DynamoDB (or similar cloud data technologies).
• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing for cost and performance in a cloud context.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical findings into business
insights.
• Passion for understanding the business domain and adding value beyond technical
delivery.
Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with ETL tools (AWS Glue, dbt, Talend, etc.).
• Knowledge of Python or SQL-based automation for BI tasks.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and cost optimization in AWS.
• Exposure to SaaS environments and multi-tenant BI architectures.
• Knowledge of other BI tools.
Profile:
• Analytical mindset, able to work independently and take ownership of technical
components.
• Comfortable working with Infrastructure as Code and AWS-native tools.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
