Senior Backend / SRE Engineer
This is a remote position.What You’ll Work On
High-scale distributed systems handling large data volumes (TB-scale pipelines)
Reliability and uptime across microservices-based architectures
Performance optimization and system resilience under real-world load
Backend systems that directly impact user experience and product growth
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and improve large-scale data pipelines and backend systems
Ensure high availability and performance across multiple microservices
Build tools to automate deployment, monitoring, and incident response
Take ownership of production systems, not just development tasks
Work closely with founders / global teams to solve critical engineering problems
Contribute to backend features with a strong focus on scalability and reliability
RequirementsRequired Experience
8+ years in software engineering
5+ years in backend engineering or SRE roles
Strong experience in distributed systems and microservices
Proficiency in at least two:
C# (.NET Core)
Python
Node.js with TypeScript
Experience with AWS (Kinesis, DynamoDB preferred)
Strong debugging and system-level thinking
