Senior Backend Engineer - TypeScript
We are looking for an experienced, senior-level backend engineer to join our fast-paced team in San Francisco. This is a critical role as we scale our systems to handle growing demand.Responsibilities:Design and build scalable, high-performance backend services using TypeScriptOptimize database performance and architecture (SQL, NoSQL, Redis)Implement efficient serverless and server-based architecturesTroubleshoot and resolve production issues related to infrastructure and scalingWork closely with the infrastructure team to ensure seamless system operationsBe willing to work extra hours during crunch time to meet deadlinesRequirements:5+ years of experience as a backend engineer, preferably at a fast-paced startupExtensive experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and building scalable web servicesStrong knowledge of database optimization and architecture (SQL, NoSQL)Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and GCPAbility to work independently and adapt quickly in a dynamic environmentExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsCompensation:Salary range: $200,000 - $300,000Generous equity stakeFull benefits packageThis is an in-person role based in our San Francisco office.
