We've spent the last 2 years getting to product market-fit and we're looking to scale the team now.Role Overview:We’re hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to architect and implement scalable, performant, and reliable backend systems supporting our expanding user base. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively, leveraging the latest backend technologies and best practices.Key Responsibilities:Architect, build, and maintain backend services with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, design) to develop and launch new features.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, maintaining high testing coverage.Partner with DevOps to optimize infrastructure, manage costs, and improve system monitoring and alerting (e.g., Datadog experience).Design and implement APIs and integrations to ensure secure and robust data flows across the system.Qualifications:6+ years of backend development experience in a professional setting.Experience shipping production apps using TypeScript and Node.jsExperience with distributed systems and task scheduling systems.Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, with experience in query optimization and handling complex database interactions.Familiarity with Inversify for dependency injection, session management, and IoC containers.Familiarity with creating and maintaining APIs, handling authentication, and securing data flows.Nice-to-Haves:Experience with Kubernetes and horizontally scaling applications to ensure high availability.Familiar with DevOps and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog) to ensure system performance and reliability.Experience with Remix for backend API development.Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.Knowledge of the web3 ecosystem or a strong interest in learning about blockchain technology.Benefits:Competitive salary and equity options.Flexibility to work remotely or join us in our Palo Alto office.Opportunity to work with a passionate and forward-thinking team.Health, dental, and vision coverage (U.S.-based employees).Professional development support, including conferences and learning resources.To Apply:Use the link below.
