Senior Backend Engineer

Lead the design and development of backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.Create and maintain APIs optimized for handling large data volumes with high efficiency.Implement advanced SQL queries and ensure performance tuning for database interactions.Maintain rigorous data security measures and robust authentication/authorization protocols.Develop automated tests (unit, integration, and data validation) to ensure software reliability.Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and oversee containerized deployments via Kubernetes.Partner with cross-functional teams including frontend and product to deliver end-to-end solutions.Guide and mentor junior engineers, facilitating technical discussions and code reviews.Monitor and optimize application performance, diagnosing and resolving production issues.Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend service development.Expertise in RESTful API design and optimization for large datasets.Advanced SQL skills including query optimization and data modeling.Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.Proficiency in container orchestration and deployment using Kubernetes.Knowledge of authentication and security standards including OAuth2 and JWT.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana.Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka.Exposure to large-scale analytics platforms or real-time reporting systems.What about languages?Advanced English proficiency required.How much experience must I have?Minimum of 5 years in backend software development, specifically working with Java/Springboot.Our benefits: Learning Opportunities: Certifications in AWS (we are AWS Partners), Databricks, and Snowflake.
