Senior Backend Developer - US Remote

Workstate is hiring a Senior Backend Developer! In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust backend systems that drive our applications and services. This is a full-time, remote opportunity available to U.S. residents who possess the right to work for any employer without need for visa sponsorship or transfer. The ideal candidate will typically have 5-7 years of professional experience and have demonstrated many of the following skills: • A track record as a technical leader with teamwide impact. • 4+ years of experience developing comprehensive, well-tested, and high-performance Enterprise applications. • 4+ years of programming experience in languages such as Java, Python, and Go • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservice architectures, and data ingestion methods. • Understanding and adherence to industry-standard best practices in software development and architecture. • Familiarity with AWS services, such as EKS, S3, Redis, Lambda, and MSK. This will make you an exceptional candidate: • Experience in fine-tuning performance and using data to optimize end-to-end latency and system behavior. • 4+ years of experience developing comprehensive, well-tested, and high-performance search applications. • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
