Job Description Summary
The Senior Azure DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing and managing the cloud infrastructure needed to support all Caption Health products. Duties include deploying infrastructure and product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. This role has a large impact on team productivity and as such requires an... understanding of the software development lifecycle and various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines).

Duties/Responsibilities
• Primary responsibility to manage the Azure cloud infrastructure tools and data with a bias towards automation and scaling.
• Secondary responsibility to manage the GCP cloud infrastructure environment.
• Maintain, improve, and monitor data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Manage and improve container orchestration and deployment strategies.
• Develop tools to manage continuous integration, software stack support, code quality, and coverage.
• Ensure and develop tools for monitoring security, privacy, and integrity of data and other resources.
• Consult with application teams on architecture, performance, and access control design.
• Strong skills in Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Experience with scripting languages.
• Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Github Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and best practices for codebase management.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container strategies and orchestration.
• Experience with FaaS/serverless environments.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive and assertive in driving solutions/solving issues.
• Bonus: Experience with Google Cloud (GCP).
• Bonus: Experience with network security and management of sensitive data.
• Bonus: Experience working in startups.
• Bonus: Experience working in healthcare or regulated environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 or similar software.
• Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree preferred in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.
• 7-10 years of experience with Azure cloud infrastructure design, development, and administration.
• Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $139,128.00-$208,692.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
