Position: Senior AVD Consultant (Azure Virtual Desktop) (Contractor) Location: Township of Manchester Employer Industry: Technology Services Why consider this job opportunity: • Opportunity for career advancement through mentorship coaching and a dedicated career development program • Share in the company's success with a Quarterly Performance-Related Profit Share Scheme • Flexible/remote working options to support a healthy work-life balance • Comprehensive benefits package including private healthcare, life assurance, and financial advice • Generous holiday allowance and enhanced leave policies for maternity, paternity, and special occasions What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): • Deliver high-quality solutions on Microsoft Azure in collaboration with customers and colleagues • Understand customer requirements and identify solutions and opportunities • Utilize Dev Ops processes and tooling for the delivery of IaaS and PaaS services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Produce and contribute to high-quality documentation • Collaborate with the Cloud Engineering Team to contribute to technical decisions and team development initiatives What is Required (Qualifications): • Experience with the delivery of Azure technologies and solutions that are highly available, high performing, and secure • Extensive hands-on experience with at least two of the following: Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Citrix (including Citrix Cloud), VMware Horizon, Remote Desktop Services (RDS) • Detailed understanding of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions for delivering desktops and applications to end users • In-depth knowledge of End User Computing concepts and solutions affecting VDI delivery • Experience using Dev Ops and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): • Passion for continual learning and development to stay updated on emerging technologies • Ability to contribute to technical designs and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences • Good commercial awareness to articulate the impacts of technical challenges and opportunities • Strong communication skills and experience in collaborative environments We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
