Senior Associate, Southeast Asia Field Marketing

We are looking for a talented, motivated marketing executive (3+ years experience) to join the International Field and Partner marketing organization. Reporting to the head of all Southeast Asia field marketing, you will work closely with sales, sales engineering, channel and carrier managed services partners, our headquarters marketing teams and vendors to execute a wide variety of targeted enablement and demand generation activities – including (but is not limited to) supporting Ciena and partner regional and geographic specific marketing campaigns and programs. Cross functional collaboration across internal, external and geographically distributed stakeholders whilst being able to balance multiple projects is key. Typical Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with external partners as well as internal teams across time zones and Ciena departments to deliver high-quality marketing programs. Execute regional marketing campaigns and events, including email marketing, social media ads, digital display advertising, and smaller-scale events/related sponsorships. Compile, analyze and report out data on marketing programs’ success. For campaigns and events, adapt existing regional and global marketing content to market to Southeast Asia customers. Navigate software such as Office365, Salesforce, Zoom, ChatGPT, and marketing project management systems, to collaborate and research for your projects. Candidate Profile Written and spoken English fluency Can self-sufficiently execute marketing projects within Southeast Asia across digital marketing, event planning or ideally both Strong project management, planning and implementation skills for multiple deadline-driven activities Ability and confidence to work in a virtual team, in a sales-oriented and cross-functional environment Self-sufficiency in learning and using marketing and collaboration software Social intelligence or curiosity about working across Southeast Asian business cultures Highly organized and motivated self-starter Good human Desirable: Fluency in Vietnamese, Bahasa (either Indonesia or Malaysia), or Thai Desirable: Familiarity with the telecommunications, cloud, or AI infrastructure landscape in Southeast Asia Experience 3 to 5 years of marketing experience in Southeast Asia Prior experience executing marketing activities for clients or stakeholders based in a different location from yours Completing marketing drafts and approvals within a highly collaborative and distributed marketing structure Desirable experience includes: B2B marketing; activating trade show sponsorships or organizing B2B events with 50+ attendees; partner marketing or field marketing within an indirect go-to-market model #LI-SM #LI-Remote #LI-Hybrid Not ready to apply?
