Key Responsibilities:
As Senior Associate you will directly work with our clients, from engagements to guidance and everything in between. You will lead and collaborate with our small team to deliver high-quality client services, foster best practices, and bring a fresh perspective on improving service delivery. You play a critical role in ensuring compliance with GAAP, SSARS, FAR, CAS, and DCAA requirements in all aspects of the financial reporting and consulting services that we provide. Additionally, you will contribute to the firm's growth by identifying new opportunities and ensuring excellence in quality assurance.
ACCOUNTING: Take charge of SSARS engagements and financial reporting while staying ahead of the curve for industry standards. Track completeness and timeliness of technical reviews and compliance. Spear head in-house training providing reusable curriculum. Help clients streamline their reporting process and make impactful improvements to their financial health, promoting growth and success. TEAM LEAD: Lead a dynamic team, overcome challenges, and deliver results on time! From mentoring team members to solving complex issues, you'll be the "go-to" for smooth project execution and innovation in every step.
CLIENT SERVICE: Juggle multiple engagements with a deep understanding of client goals, fostering strong relationships through expert knowledge of Federal regulations and tailored business advice.

This position is PART-TIME| W-2 Employee | Monday - Friday |Project Based
Flexible between 7 AM - 6 PM EST
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree +
CPA license required
8+ years of public accounting experience, including job cost accounting. Clients under $50M preferred.
4+ years in a senior role supervising other team members required
Must have experience working with government contractors, including deep knowledge of federal contracts, total time reporting, FAR, CAS, and DCAA compliance requirements.
Solid knowledge of GAAP, SSARS 21, ASC 606, and ASC 842.
Proficiency using audit software
General knowledge of tax laws.
Expertise in Business Accounting Systems: QuickBooks Desktop or PROCAS highly preferred.
Intermediate/advanced Excel Skills, including tips and tricks
Technically proficient, able to learn new skills quickly and effectively.
