What You’ll Achieve
Architect & Own: You will architect and own the development of robust, scalable Android applications with up-to-date technologies such as Kotlin and Jetpack Compose using modern principles like S.O.L.I.D., MVVM/MVP, and contemporary design patterns.
Lead & Mentor: You will lead and mentor a team of Android developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and high-quality code through insightful code reviews and technical guidance.
Partner with Clients: You will act as the key technical partner for our US and EMEA clients, translating business needs into technical solutions and confidently guiding conversations on project scope and timelines.
Champion Quality: You will champion a culture of quality by implementing and advocating for comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, and UI tests) to ensure our applications are performant and reliable.
Shape Our Team: You will shape the future of our team by participating in the hiring process, helping us identify and attract top Android talent to our growing chapter.
Who You Are
We are looking for a consultant who values craftsmanship and collaboration. You don't need to check every box, but you should be able to demonstrate a strong foundation in these areas.
Core Experience:
Professional fluency in English, with the ability to lead technical discussions with international stakeholders and team members.
Proven experience designing and implementing mobile architectures (e.g., MVVM, MVP) and a strong grasp of S.O.L.I.D. principles.
Demonstrated experience in a leadership or mentorship capacity, comfortable guiding other developers and improving team practices.
Bonus Points:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
A passion for sharing knowledge through tech talks, study groups, or writing.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
Our Tech & Tools
You’ll primarily work with Kotlin, the Android SDK, the full Jetpack Suite (AndroidX, Architecture Components, etc.), RESTful APIs, and Git.
REMOTE WORK: This position is remote-friendly. If you miss being in the office, we have a great one in Florianópolis, and you are welcome to work from there whenever you wish. Just a reminder: remote employees must live in Brazil (we hire international professionals only for specific openings).
