Senior Analytics Engineer

Xometry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and data analytics, and be able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.This is a 1-year contract with the potential for extension.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and analytics solutions
Work with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
Translate business problems into technical solutions
Collaborate with other engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver data-driven insights
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in data engineering and analytics
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Experience: 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or analytics engineer
Technical Skills:
Strong experience with SQL, dbt, and Looker.
Knowledge of scientific software principles, including version control, code reproducibility, and deployment practices.
Business Acumen: Ability to translate data-driven insights into actionable business recommendations.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Problem-Solving: Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for finding innovative solutions.
Additional Requirement: Must be able to work core hours aligned with US Eastern Time (GMT-5).
