Senior Analytics Consultant (Sigma Computing)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analytics Consultant with expertise in data visualization, modeling, and proficiency in the Sigma Computing platform. The successful candidate will play a crucial role working with phData clients in order to transform raw data into actionable insights, helping our teams make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or a related field.
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a data analytics or reporting role.
Demonstrated expertise in Sigma Computing platform.
Proven expertise in configuring and managing Sigma Input (Writeback) and Embedded Tables to support real-time, user-driven data entry and updates directly within Sigma workbooks.
Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau preferred
Strong proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.
Experience in SQL and data modeling concepts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Visualization and Reporting:
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Sigma.
Ensure data visualizations effectively communicate complex data insights in a clear and intuitive manner.
Work closely with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and customize visualizations accordingly.
Data Modeling:
Create and manage robust data models in Sigma to support the analytics and reporting needs of the business.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by establishing validation rules and data governance practices.
Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to integrate new data sources and enhance existing ones.
Platform Management:
Establish best practices, governance frameworks, and usage policies to support a secure and scalable self-service analytics environment using Sigma.
Manage and optimize Sigma platform access, configurations, and performance to align with client-specific reporting needs and organizational standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with senior leaders across the company reporting and analytics needs.
Collaborate with client stakeholders and senior business leaders to understand and address reporting and analytics needs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Continuous Improvement:
Monitor, analyze, and provide feedback on report usage, suggesting improvements or new reports to meet changing business needs.
