Senior Analyst, Systems – ROPS
Job Description:
• Perform complex root cause analysis on large datasets to identify denial patterns and revenue leakage.
• Partner with leaders to develop and implement workflow solutions and automated reporting for key business drivers.
• Utilize analytical tools such as SQL and Excel to assess the financial impact of various collection efforts.
• Break down complex collection problems into digestible components and develop robust solutions.
• Identify and facilitate strategic process improvements to move ROPS to 'World Class' standards.
• Challenge the status quo to identify transformative changes in how denials and short-pays are handled.
• Influence results through clear oral and written communication of complex concepts to senior leadership.
• Interface with external vendors and insurance companies to resolve payment disputes and optimization gaps.
• Create and maintain project plans, ensuring updates are provided to stakeholders regularly.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (STEM, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Business)
• 2–4 years of experience in healthcare analytics or revenue cycle management
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel
• Strong expertise in Tableau dashboard development
• Experience with Python or VBA for data manipulation is highly preferred
• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and draw data-driven conclusions
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
