Position Summary
As a Senior Analyst - SQL Developer, you will work under the guidance of managers and senior managers of the data team to support the development of staged data for tableau dashboards. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views for ad-hoc and recurring standard reports or file builds
• Developing and troubleshooting Microsoft SQL Server databases
• Tuning Microsoft SQL Server databases for optimal performance
• Working with ETL tools such as Alteryx, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Analyst - SQL Developer, you will be responsible for:
• Designing, developing, and implementing database solutions to support business requirements
• Writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support data analysis and reporting
• Troubleshooting and resolving database issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions
• Automating manual processes based on requirements
• Organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple tasks on a regular basis with a high level of detail
• Identifying, analyzing, and solving complex problems taking into account a variety of factors
• Responding to changing priorities and handling multiple tasks at one time
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Qualifications:
• Expert knowledge of SQL and database technologies
• Skilled in ETL tools such as Alteryx, SSIS, and SSRS
• Ability to deliver projects on time, understand business requirements, and convert them into technical solutions
• Ability to automate manual processes based on requirements
• Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks on a regular basis with a high level of detail
• Ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems taking into account a variety of factors
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and mathematical skills that can interpret data and communicate effectively to deliver quality products
• Demonstrates resourcefulness in problem-solving and confidence in learning complex material
Preferred Qualifications:
• Understanding of business process improvement, project management, and quality practices
• Experience and proficiency with SQL Server 2014/2016 versions and SQL Server on GCP
• Prior experience with PBM services, insurance, or healthcare
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with tight timeframes
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required for this role.
Compensation and Benefits
CVS Health offers a competitive salary range of $46,988.00 - $102,000.00 for this role, depending on experience, education, and geography. In addition to your base salary, you will be eligible for:
