Senior Analyst, Risk Management and Insurance - Remote Opportunity in Clarksville, USA
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst to join our Risk Management and Insurance team at 3M. As a Senior Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and innovative team, making a significant impact on our organization's risk management and insurance strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret data to inform insurance decisions and support risk management initiatives
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal and regulatory teams, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Manage claims activities, including working with insurers, claims adjusters, and external counsel
Evaluate risk financing strategies, including self-insurance and captive feasibility
Oversee global clinical trials insurance program and ensure timely issuance of insurance certificates and auto ID cards
Conduct data and risk analysis for programs, as needed
Manage corporate insurance program for both renewals and new placements
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Risk Management (completed and verified prior to start date)
At least 2 years of risk management experience, preferably with a global organization in a private, public, government, or military environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to analyze complex data sets
Applies critical thinking skills to understand and organize complex operations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of follow-up and completion
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
