Senior Analyst, Legal Operations - Leading PE Firm
Overview
We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Legal Operations to join one of the world’s leading global investment platforms and support their capital markets legal function. This is a highly visible, analytically focused role sitting at the intersection of legal, finance, and investment teams. You’ll help manage a large volume of external legal spend, work closely with top law firms, support regulatory filings, and gain exposure to a diverse set of investment strategies across the firm. Key Responsibilities
• Manage and analyze $150M+ in external legal spend, preparing monthly reporting for senior management and investment teams
• Serve as the primary liaison to external law firms for budgetary reporting and invoicing matters
• Support the preparation, tracking, and filing of SEC and other regulatory securities filings
• Assist with negotiating and reviewing Confidentiality Agreements, Engagement Letters, and other legal documentation
• Partner with internal teams across the global platform to ensure accurate reporting, strong communication, and timely execution
• Drive process improvements across legal operations and support ad-hoc legal projects
Qualifications
• Relevant experience at a major law firm or in-house at an investment or financial services organization
• Strong analytical skills with comfort interpreting and presenting large data sets in Excel
• Polished interpersonal skills with the ability to interact diplomatically across internal teams and external counsel
• Knowledge of basic financial instruments; prior SimpleLegal experience is a plus
