Senior Analyst Data Science

We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven Senior Analyst – Data Science & Analytics to join our FedEx- MEISA Data Science Team. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional with strong analytical and communication skills, capable of independently managing data-driven projects and delivering impactful insights using cutting-edge tools and technologies. ________________________________________ • Data Analysis & Visualization: • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, DAX, and Office 365 tools. • Translate complex datasets into actionable insights for business stakeholders. • Automate reporting processes and ensure data accuracy and consistency. • Forecasting & Planning Support: • Assist in freight volume and revenue forecasting using statistical and machine learning techniques. • Support demand and capacity planning through data modeling and scenario analysis. • Project Ownership: • Lead end-to-end analytics projects, from requirement gathering to solution delivery. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including commercial, operations, and IT. • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality analytical outputs. • Technology & Innovation: • Leverage Azure Cloud, Power Platform, and other modern tools for data integration and analysis. • Stay updated with the latest trends in data science, BI, and cloud technologies. • Contribute to the development of reusable analytics assets and best practices. • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. • 3–5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science roles. • Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Excel, and Office 365 ecosystem. • Strong SQL and Python skills for data manipulation and analysis. • Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure ML, Synapse, Data Factory) is a plus. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in air cargo, logistics, or transportation industry. • Familiarity with forecasting models and statistical techniques. • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
