Senior Analyst, Compensation

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Compensation Analyst to join our People Operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our compensation and equity strategies are competitive, transparent and aligned with our company’s philosophy. The successful candidate will leverage AI, data analytics, external benchmarking, and process improvements to enhance our compensation systems and practices, playing a crucial role in decision-making and strategic planning.In this role you’ll Own and update compensation bands utilizing external data sources and market benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and alignment with our compensation philosophyLead the compensation budget process, including forecasting, tracking, and analysis of budgets vs. actuals to manage financial performanceDraft and maintain comprehensive presentations and guides to educate and foster transparency Oversee equity forecasting models, ensuring strategic allocation and alignment with company objectivesOwn the underlying job data architecture and business processes related to compensation and equity changes within Workday. Collaborate closely with the Workday system admin to enhance user experience.Implement systems and processes to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of compensation data, identifying areas for improved integrity and refined analyticsSpearhead initiatives to automate and streamline compensation processes, enhancing efficiency across the boardServe as a trusted resource to all stakeholders, supporting and guiding them in compensation decisions based on our philosophy, facilitating informed decision-making through comprehensive analytics and reportsWhat you’ll needMinimum of 3+ years in a compensation analyst role or similar, with an emphasis on data management and process optimization within a People or Finance teamBachelor's Degree in a related fieldAdvanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis toolsExperience with Workday and other compensation-related software is strongly preferredFamiliarity with standard job architecture, leveling, and third-party compensation data setsExceptional attention to detail, with a dedication to data accuracy and integrityStrong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information in clear terms to various stakeholdersAbility to to work 3 days a week in our NYC officeEnthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our cultureUnfortunately, we cannot consider applicants from these states; Colorado, California, Montana, Hawaii, New Mexico and Puerto Rico.*Please note that we are unable to sponsor applicants for work visasLemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000-$120,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
