This is a flexible and remote-friendly role based in the United States with occasional travel for team offsites. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Operations, this is a high-impact individual contributor role for a dynamic problem-solver who can work in fast-paced environments with senior-executive level visibility. It offers a path to broader operational leadership opportunities as Uplight scales, as you will be a key partner in improving the systems, reporting, and workflows that power client delivery, retention, and margin visibility. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving business performance by improving the quality, visibility, and scalability of our post-sales operations. You will be an individual contributor responsible for managing critical operational processes across client retention, implementation reporting, and systems administration. The Senior Analyst will collaborate closely with Account Management, Professional Services, Implementation, Finance, Sales, Legal, Product, and Operations to deliver accurate reporting, streamline workflows, and support operational success. Success in this role will be measured by improvements in data integrity, process efficiency, stakeholder satisfaction, and the team’s ability to scale through automation and AI-enabled ways of working. Client Operations and Retention Compile the monthly churn forecast, partnering with Account Management leadership to ensure strong data hygiene and clear visibility into retention risk and renewal outlook through reporting and dashboardingDeliver weekly customer satisfaction (CSAT) reporting, track trends over time, and surface actionable insights to leadershipMaintain templates and documentation that support standardized account transitions, contract visibility, and client lifecycle managementTurn operational data into trend reporting and actionable insights that improve decision-making and management visibilityEvaluate and improve customer satisfaction methodology to better incorporate operational and client outcome-based metricsAssess the value and application of client segmentation approaches and refresh the methodology as needed to better support prioritization and retention strategiesSupport leadership in cross-functional quality initiatives and other trend analysis efforts that benefit the businessIdentify bottlenecks in the Account Management lifecycle and implement process improvements that streamline work across Commercial, Finance, and Operations teamsEnsure renewal dates, contract values, and related retention data are accurate and consistently maintained, improving visibility from sales handoff through long-term client managementTrack revenue recognition and cost milestones, maintain related forecasts, and surface gaps or risks early to support timely revenue recognition and stronger cross-functional planning Implementation OperationsTrack contingent revenue in coordination with Professional Services and Implementation leadership to improve reporting accuracy and forecast confidenceLead the monthly cost and utilization reporting cycle, ensuring data quality, timely reporting, and smooth coordination across teamsBuild a scalable path to Finance handoff and longer-term process ownershipOwn the source of truth in Wrike, with responsibility for data accuracy, project health indicators, and cost data integrityServe as Wrike administrator on the Implementation-side to ensure consistency of Implementation and Professional Services projects and data inputs and outputsSupport integrations across Wrike, Salesforce, and Jira to improve process continuity and reduce manual workManage the transfer of key data from Wrike to Finance, including revenue timing, time tracking, and related project informationAct as the primary liaison between Finance and Project Management / Implementation leadership to ensure alignment, timely issue resolution, and process improvement Process Improvement, Automation, and AI InnovationPartner with post-sales and cross-functional leaders to continuously improve workflows, reduce administrative burden, and strengthen operational rigorIdentify areas with heavy manual data movement or repetitive coordination and lead the implementation of process and system improvementsImplement best practices to increase efficiency, improve reporting quality, and create more scalable ways of working across Account Management and ImplementationActively seek and test opportunities to leverage AI across the organization, including use cases such as project status summarization, client-ready update drafting, sentiment analysis, predictive churn insights, and proactive internal nudgesHelp evolve the team’s technology stack beyond manual spreadsheets by improving adoption, integration, optimization, and long-term system designPartner with Finance and the Deliver & Operate pillar to improve forecast-to-contract accuracy through biannual churn/ARR reviews and ongoing refinement of the forecasting process What You Bring to Uplight:Experience: 5-8 years of experience in operations, project management, commercial or sales operations, consulting, implementation, client operations, or financial analysis roles. Energy industry experience is a plus.Strong operational project management skills, with experience managing multiple complex workflows, stakeholders, and deadlinesExcellent organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a systems-oriented mindsetAdvanced skills in Google Sheets and experience working in systems such as Wrike, Salesforce, and Jira, and business intelligence tools such as Looker and TableauAbility to ask strategic questions and dive into problems without deep subject matter expertise on day oneAbility to lead with influence, especially with senior-level leaders and cross-functional team membersAbility to drive accountability across teams with persistence, tact, and strong cross-functional judgmentAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectivelyStrong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to turn complex operational data into clear insights, recommendations, and action plansEffective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholdersEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Operations, or a related field.
