Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator

The Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator will be a key member of the Accounting team, responsible for executing complex financial processes, managing vendor payments, resolving inquiries, ensuring accuracy in reconciliations, driving process innovation, and mentoring other AP Coordinators.

Responsibilities
• Process complex, exception-based invoices in Concur and Dynamics 365 with high-level precision.
• Prepare and release vendor payments (ACH, EFT, wire transfers, and checks) while reviewing weekly AP aging to identify cash flow risks.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for vendor and internal inquiries, ensuring professional and timely solutions.
• Perform account reconciliations, research discrepancies, and provide critical support for audit requests and month-end/year-end close.
• Proactively identify process gaps and assist in implementing modern AP workflows.
• Train and provide guidance to AP Coordinators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements
• 4–6+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, ideally within a shared services environment.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with Concur, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar enterprise financial systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Concur, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar financial systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Self-starter and autonomous.
• Pressure-resistant and deadline-driven.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels.
• Proven ability to manage priorities independently and handle confidential information.
• High School Diploma or GED required
