This role is ideal for someone with Big 4 (or similar) training who’s transitioned into industry and wants to make a meaningful impact at a fast-growing, high-complexity startup. You’ll work cross-functionally with leaders across accounting, FP&A, operations, and executive leadership, with exposure to a broad range of financial and strategic initiatives.This position is based in our brand-new NYC office on a hybrid basis.Core ResponsibilitiesOwn month-end and quarter-end close processes across multiple entitiesPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidated financialsLead process improvements and help implement scalable systems as we growPartner with internal teams (including FP&A and People Ops) on reporting and complianceSupport audits, tax filings, and other external reporting requirementsHelp shape accounting operations and internal controls across a complex entity structureCollaborate cross-functionally with team membersReport directly to our VP of FinanceWhat We Value (Qualifications)7+ years of accounting experience, including time at a Big 4 or top-tier firm (BDO, Grant Thornton, etc.)CPA certificationIndustry experience in addition to public accountingStrong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting skillsExcellent communicator who can collaborate across departments in a flat, fast-moving orgNice-to-Haves:Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industriesFamiliarity with multi-entity consolidationFP&A or finance operations exposureThe salary range for this job opportunity is $170,000 to $200,000 per year, which is the amount Angle Health anticipates paying for this position at the time of this job posting.
